Senior Electrical Design Engineer - London - Permanent - £30,000 to £38,000
STR Group are looking for an experienced senior electrical design engineer (building services) to undertake design on projects across a range of business sectors with a strong focus on high end residential projects.
The position requires the detailed design of projects with minimal supervision, with site inspections and surveys expected. You will also supervise junior engineers and report to senior management on a regular basis. Ideally, you can demonstrate previous design experience in electrical engineering in high end residential projects. You will also have demonstrable experience and understanding of integrated design in buildings coupled with experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines.
A genuine interest in sustainable design and low energy buildings would be advantageous along with experience in delivering projects from inception to completion, through your own efforts and that of your team. A good knowledge and competent user of Amtech and Dialux is required, as is familiarity with site practices, and experience of inspections and surveys.
The position would suit anyone that can commute into central London and work for a salary circa £30,000 to £38,000 dependant on experience.
