My client is looking for a Building Services Engineer (Electrical Design), to work in their busy Newcastle office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
A Senior Chartered Electrical Engineer is required to take technical responsibility for Electrical Engineering design of a range of projects including Healthcare and Education projects as well as other public sector and private sector building types. The individual will work in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering colleagues to deliver integrated M&E design and project management alongside other disciplines both within and external to the company.
The individual will also take responsibility for projects that include the grid connection of both embedded and stand alone renewable generation at a range of voltage levels.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
Chartered Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of taking technical responsibility for Electrical Engineering design of a range of projects since achieving Chartered status.
Experience of Electrical Building Services should include a range of Healthcare and Education projects as well as other public sector and private sector building types. It would also be desirable if the individual has experience of the grid connection of both embedded and stand alone renewable generation at a range of voltage levels.
Additional Information:
Familiarity with a range of BIM and design software including Revitt, Hevacomp, Relux and Amtech would be advantageous.
Salary: £35-40k
