EDS Design Engineer Urgently required for a Global market leader supplying innovative products whilst improving processes in concept, quality & technological requirements. Consistently delivering complete EDS solutions using state of the art technologies for wiring harnesses and components such as wire, junction boxes, fusing, connectors etc.

• 
  
  You will carry out concept design studies utilising CAE tools and physical bucks.
  
  


• Prepare component drawings for release into customers systems and plants.


• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customer.


• CAD experience. ( CATIA V5, Auto Cad as required ).


• EDS manufacturing experience combined with DFM.


• Working knowledge of GPDS, DVP, FMEA & APQP

This position provides the design interface between first tier and OEM automotive engineering centres based in UK, Prior practical design experience with a first tier EDS supplier or from within the VM base is desirable.
