EB2882: Projects Engineer (s) - Facilities
Salary: £35K to £45K
Location: West Midlands
Position: Permanent
Projects Engineer (s) - Facilities required to be responsible for facility and process equipment projects needed to deliver a new engine manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, the Projects Engineer will be within a group staff organisation and will be required to support all projects as appropriate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with the Facility teams and other Engineering Specialists to provide project management expertise on multi discipline projects in support of the construction and modification of manufacturing facilities.
• Design, specify and manage to completion facility procurement and installation using specialised contractors.
• Manage Contractors in strict accordance with the Control of Contractors procedures.
• Attend programme meetings at all levels, representing the Plant Engineering team and presenting where appropriate.
• Manage physical builds at assembly plant locations, raising and managing issues where appropriate
• Working with equipment suppliers, contractors, and teams to provide technical support

Key Skills and Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proven track record in management of related projects
• Fully conversant with the Construction design and Management Regulations
• Fully conversant with the use of Autocad
• Good knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project)
• The ability to lead, and to work as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to achieve results by meeting deliverables / commitments
• Experience in Powertrain or Automotive Manufacture
• Proactive approach
• Tenacious and diligent working practices
• Attention to detail
• Self motivated
• Good team player and able to work on own initiative
• Adheres to and promotes company values
• Possible relocation package available to candidates outside commutable distance
