Company Description: UK export office for a leading international distributor of electrical construction products and electrical and industrial maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies.
Job Title: Internal Sales (Internal)
Responsible to: UK Manager
Location / Area: Manchester
Basic Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 dependant on ability and experience

Principle Responsibilities: Export sales of electrical distribution products to major customers in the industrial, Utility, Petrochemical, Construction, OEM and communications sectors (i.e. BP, Esso, KBR).
Your role will be a combination of direct sales and customer management / service coupled with supplier negotiating and ordering.
All communication with the customer is via telephone or e-mail - this is not a trade counter organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major international distributor and prove yourself in the export market place.
Ideal Candidate: With a minimum of three years internal or external sales experience within electrical wholesaling you will have a good all-round product understanding and an ability to communicate effectively both in writing and over the phone.
You will be a strong negotiator who has the ability to spot opportunities for increased sales or profit and make it happen.
Passionate, assertive (not aggressive), customer focused with a drive to sell and exceed targets.
