Eden Scott’s client are one of the largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK with around 10 million customers and over 20,000 employees.
Continued commercial success and expansion means they seeking applications from enthusiastic Production Engineers to work within their gas fired Power Station near Peterhead.
Reporting directly to the Process Engineering Team Leader, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
• Providing process engineering support to shift staff and engineering team
• Developing operational excellence and to maximise availability, reliability and efficiency of the plant without compromising safety or impact on the environment
• Develop and maintain operating procedures
• Provide input into the station work control process
• Represent Production in the outage planning process
• Investigate incidents and establish root causes
• Monitor and improve plant performance.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a relevant qualification in an engineering discipline and possess relevant vocational experience in a similar role. (Ideally in the Power or Process Industries)
