One of the UK's most innovative construction companies has a requirement for a M&E Design Engineer to work from their South London office. Specialising in projects in the South East you will be working on developments from the Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Public Sector.
The South Eastern regional office has built an enviable track record of delivering specialist construction services to clients, using traditional, design & build and partnering forms of contract. They undertake new-build, refurbishment and fit-out contracts with contract ranging in value fro £500k to £25million.
The decision to move the M&E design responsibility is seen as key move to provide a “one-stop shop” service to clients that will exclude external consultants, giving the business complete control of the entire design and build process.
You will have a proven UK design background and you will be proficient in both Mechanical AND Electrical Design Engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Competent in specification of design/drawing for several building types
- Sound knowledge of key health and safety issues and legislation
- Good understanding of BS Standards/UK Codes/Regulations
Educational requirements
- Ideally Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartered Engineer status
- BEng or MEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or a combination of educational and practical experience in a relevant subject
