Background
Through continued growth, an experienced Electro – Mechanical Assembler is now required to join the manufacturing operations of a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment to the UK electronics market.
Key Responsibilities
Being part of the production team, manufacturing market leading capital equipment for the Global SMT Industry, the Electro – Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for ensuring that the Company’s sophisticated electro-mechanical systems are suitably assembled to the Customer’s requirements.
Key Background & Experience
A good appreciation of assembly techniques and sound technical common sense is essential.
The role would suit someone with good experience of Electro - Mechanical Engineering, with a bias towards Mechanical, possibly with some machine build experience too.
The use and understanding of Assembly Drawings is a requirement.
Experience of measurement tools such as DVMs / Height Gauges / Verniers / Micrometers would be an advantage, although training may be provided to the right individual.
Experience biased to Electrical or Mechanical Assembly would be ideal.
However any individuals who can demonstrate an aptitude in general engineering, with a willingness to develop, will be considered.
