Job Title: Technical Sales Support
Responsible to: Lighting Design Manager
Location / Area: Essex
Basic Salary: £25 - £28,000 depending on experience and ability
Benefits: Contributory Pension
Reason for Vacancy: New Position
This role requires someone with knowledge and experience of the sales process and the ability to assist with technical support. A key part of this role is liaising with other departments both in the UK and the head office in Germany, and tracking and managing projects from initial enquiry through to supply.
MAIN TASKS
Ø To support the Regional Sales Team with project management and technical support
Ø Take offs and quotations requests
Ø Liaise with customers, other departments and colleagues both in the UK and Germany.
Ø Special Customer Requests
Ø Luminaire Schedules and data sheets
Ø Generating Quotation Request Forms & providing Quotations for more complex Projects
Ø Monitor technical compliance of Trilux products with project specification requirements.
Ø Assists internal sales order processing staff in the management of project orders and contracts
Ø Respond to technical Enquiries from customers and sales engineers
Ø Other duties as may be required from time to time provided that such duties are legal, reasonable and within your general capabilities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Ø Experience of Interior & Exterior Lighting market
Ø Good communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely
Ø Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Ø Well organised and proactive
Ø Able to project manage and take ownership
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Ø SAP & CRM experience
Ø Familiarity with current environmental legislation
Ø Presentation skills
